How do I protect myself from the devil and his spiritual demonic attacks
Giving the demonic realm access to attack you and your family.
So far, we have seen that we, believers in Christ are at war, and have seen what the war is about. Also why we are involved in this ancient war and know that its a spiritual war we are fighting and not against humans flesh and blood but spirits (entities). We know the devil has many ways he can show himself or his demons or entities, we also know that he lays traps and snares to catch us.
The bottom line is he wants to kill us, as we are in Christ and know the truth, and the truth will set you free. The devil wants to take us out of this fight so we don't spend eternity in paradise heaven.
I can tell you from first hand accounts that the spiritual dimensional world is a very very real world and it is so much more real that the dimensional world in which we live in. The bible says if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord so the moment you die you will feel the most alive and spiritual awakening you have ever been.
Because the moment Adam took of the fruit Eve gave him their spirits died, that is why the bible says we must be born again, our spirit must be re-born of the new man which is Jesus Christ new creation.
They way demons and entities enter us are through gates.
We must go through our lives and houses getting rid of anything that is of the occult, this means anything that is ungodly. The root word for occult means hidden from view. If you are unsure about something then it usually is of the occult and needs to be burnt.
The eye gate is a very strong doorway to the demonic realm, once you have seen something that is of an ungodly nature (murder, horror films, violence, porn, death etc) it is very hard to unseen it, you will keep on getting flash backs of it in your mind years after you have first seen it. The devil is a legalist, you can be squeaky clean but have just 1 of these in your home or practised something unknowingly gives the devil the right for his demons and entities to enter. This will be like a red flag to a bull, a landing light to demons, as moths in the darkness are drawn to light, this will give them the right to be there.
As soldiers of Christ we must watch what we do, where we go, who we keep company with and what we bring back into the camp.
Ephesians ch6 v12
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places.
Like it or not we are in a war of good v evil, light v darkness, God v the devil, you didn't have to be asked to be involved with the war but you are in one way or another and are involved in it passively or knowingly and if you are a born again believer in the Lord JESUS CHRIST, you have turned from death to life and have been enlisted in the Lord's army as a soldier of Christ.
We are in a battle and you are a soldier you can choose to fight and take ground for the LORD, or sit back and take hits on your life from the enemy.
You see when you where in the world, and not born again in the spirit the principalities and powers (for evil spirits of this world the devil) didn't care too much about you as you where with him anyway, but as soon as you come into the light the devil doesn't want you to know the truth and lose you, so he does all he can to stop you.
You see the devil wont waste his ammunition, bullets on a dead man.

Now we have seen how many names the devil has, also this can reflect into how many faces he has, his lies, his shadows and deceptions are endless. That is why the believer in Christ must be aware of his devices, deceptions and schemes.
You must not be ignorant of the devils tactics. You see, we can overcome the schemes of the devil but we must be on guard all the time just like a soldier when he is behind enemy lines, always on the outlook for the enemy, needs to know if he's been compromised.
The devil is a schemer, a scheme is a plan that is designed to get you, or a programme of action. The bible talks about the wiles of the devil (Ephesians Ch6 v11) A wile is a trick or trap, a trap is a snare.
Warfare involves tactics and strategies. Alexander the Great was a great master at this, all his tactics and strategies he did no one had seen before would have thought of it, this is how he was so successful in conquering the world. Do not allow the enemy to stratergise against you, traps and snares are hidden. People fall into traps unknowingly, like the frog in pan of water slowly heated till its too hot and late and he gets boiled alive.
We are delivered from the fouler, a fouler is a hunter, satan is a hunter of souls and he is the master at it, he takes the time, storks his pray, gets to know them and their routine, the areas you are weak in and the sinful things you like and he sets up his trap. Sometimes the trap is hidden or he sets up and ambush and then when you are in the killing zone, opens up with a full on frontal assault.
This war is an ancient war, its been going on long before time began as we know it. But got us involved in it when the devil deceived Eve in the garden of Eden with the forbidden fruit off the tree. God said "you may eat from any tree apart from the tree of knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat of it."
After this God said "i will put emunity between your seed and her seed" since then the devil wants us for his army, but his army is destruction and God wants us for his army to live in paradise with him and his son Jesus Christ.
But you see this war is about your soul and you have free will, God doesn't want to be a dictator and win if you don't want to follow him in your heart, as he would have made us just like robots. But you have got to decide for yourselves which side you want to fight and live the rest of eternity on. Not just this short time we have on this earth.
I hear you say "so what?"
I believe in Christ and that's it, however if you in a cult or a religious counterfeit of faith you wouldn't realised you are in a false counterfeit because you have fallen into a trap.
As the bible says. "a little leaven leavens the whole lump". SIN in the bible is represented by leaven, and if this is the case you are living in bondage to sin.

So what is the battle over?
It's over to win our soul and our spirit but if you are born again, you are no longer of this world, but are a citizen of heaven and are here fighting in this war for God to win souls for the Lord. You see when Jesus died on the cross he said "it is finished?" What is finished? His works! so its over to us to do the Lord's work through his power and death on the cross, you see if the Lord didn't want us to fight he would just call you home straight to heaven the moment we got saved. Its like having a boat in the water, Its ok to have the boat in the water, but not the water in the boat. The water represents the world and the boat represents a believer in Christ. The bible says "If you where of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
John ch5 v19
This is why the devil can still fire his fiery darts at you and his demons can still attack us if we give them the opportunity. Its important that we don't let the devil get a foot hold in our life, because once he gets in he makes our life like hell. The bible says "the devil comes only to steal, kill, and destroy," we must repent of our sin and keep short accounts with the Lord Jesus so the devil can't use it as leverage against us and bring us into temptation and bondage.
This can be from DVD's, films, horror movies, dolls, puppets, jewelry, pictures, rings, clothes, statues (presents, brought back from holidays) etc. The devil is a master at repackaging and disguising, he will come to us in forms such as:- Harry Potter, Scooby Doo, Disney films such as Frozen, music, drugs, pot, legal highs, prescription (medicine) drugs, (which we get pharmaceutical from the Greek word pharmakia which translated means witchcraft or sorceries). Drugs are very dangerous, this is how the Indians would pass around what they call the peace pipe in a tee-pee with a hullucinating drug whilst they summoned up the spirits. Jungle tribes do the same thing but with a hullucinating drink.
Karate, kung fu and martial arts and even yoga. Some churches are even renting out their halls for yoga classes and to drama groups for wizardary evil plays. Every yoga stance is to free you up and to present your body as an offering to the spirit of kundalini (god of the foreign demonic idols) All of the body moves are satanic, the plank, bridge, eagle, big toe etc. Even what we have on our t-shirts can have a satanic meaning. Soft porn magazines, sex is a big way in which the enemy can get hold of men and woman through perversions, sexual acts of love. Also what we watch on TV, scfi, so called reality programmes, horror films, cartoons, murder documentaries, looking at facebook etc, reading your star signs, tarot cards, acupuncture, spiritual healers, body piercings, tattoos etc, these are all ways evil spirits can gain entry to your life.
